ARMC broke ground for New Clear Lake Clinic
Amery Regional Medical Center broke ground on Wednesday 21st to welcome the beginning of a new clinic facility in Clear Lake, Wisconsin. The new 5,000 square foot facility will replace the existing 1700 square foot building that has been located in Clear Lake for the past 20+ years.
ARMC Board Chair Dan Lien noted that the new facility will meet a long-term goal of the Medical Center. “For the past few years we have been planning to build a new facility in Clear Lake that would accommodate two medical providers working in this clinic on a five day a week schedule.”
The ARMC Medical staff, which is a part of HealthPartners Medical Group, has hired family Medicine Physician Dr. James Jackson who will begin staffing the new Clear Lake Clinic when it opens. Dr. Jackson will be joined by Family Practitioner Sheryl Schulte who has been providing services in Clear Lake.
Dr. Jackson will be joining the Medical Center on October 24th and will work at the ARMC main campus in Amery until the new Clear Lake Clinic is ready. Dr. Jackson has been in medical practice since 1991 and completed his medical education at Michigan State Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Dr. Jackson has been working most recently at the Kneibert Clinic in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Derrick Companies, New Richmond, WI is the general contractor for the project and Architectural Design Group, Menomonie, WI is the architect. The $900,000 project is expected to be complete before the end of the calendar year.
