Dunn County Healthcare Center

Location: Menomonie, WI

Architect: David Cihasky

Project Size: 110,231 SF

The Dunn County Healthcare Center design consists of three groups of buildings, each creating its own sense of community. Each community has a main core building with three neighborhood buildings branching off. The neighborhood building consists of 13, 14, or 16 resident rooms, each with their own bathroom/shower, a kitchen, dining room, living room, screen porch, den, and nurse’s station. The central group is called the "Large Core" which houses the chapel, community room, physical therapy department, nurse, exam room, x-ray room, gift shop, beauty parlor, spa, library, main laundry, main kitchen, and business office. The two flanking groups each have a small core consisting of a community room, beauty parlor, spa, activity room, nurse, and social worker. ADG worked in association with Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. on this project.
