ADG teamed with Park View Home staff to provide a facility to take them into the future while maintaining the coveted existing building and site. Site constraints and location to wetlands were a key challenge along with a defined budget. The addition includes a new main entrance with administrative space, a town centre commons area, 17 single occupant resident rooms with dedicated toilet/shower rooms, a spa bath, dining, serving kitchen, and a quiet social room. The lower level of the addition contains support spaces like laundry and staff lounge as well as a staff exercise room, conference space, classrooms, and a large shell space for future expansion. Renovation is geared towards providing additional private rooms and toilet/showers as well as spa bathing, serving kitchen, and a main kitchen. Other renovations included updating finishes in most spaces. The lower level is a walkout and ADG renovated the existing daycare area to provide for additional children and be a better functioning and safe environment.dining. The campus features National/Folk Colonial styling inside and out, to create a simple, warm, and home like atmosphere.
